Firstly, a very warm welcome to you all, old and new members alike.  We have been steadily growing over the past year, and it's exciting to see this happen.  We hope this will be an excellent year for us all and that despite everything that goes on around us in the world, we will each find personal happiness and some sense of achievement in what we try to do.

I thought perhaps you would like to know a little more about the Administrative staff here and how we work, particularly as we have quite a wide variety of galleries and genres in this group.  As you can appreciate, not all of us is knowledgeable, let alone qualified in every area!  When we are assessing submissions we always defer to those of us who are more knowledgeable in the genre being considered before making final decisions, and a minimum of two yes votes are required before acceptance. 

As the group grows and grows, dealing with submissions is becoming more and more time-consuming.  This means there may be occasions when a reason for decline may not be given if we are in a hurry at the time.  Should this happen, and you still would like a reason, then please use the submission page for that deviation to ask us to give an explanation - or send the group a note with a link to your submission.  Someone will always get back to you.

- Founder Lives in the UK  and is a professional traditional artist of high-standing.  She has been a Contributor to this group for quite some time, and now the Founder.




- Co-Founder  I live in the U.S.A.  A Registered Nurse by profession, I am now a Freelance Digital Artist, specializing in Book Cover and CD art, as well as commissions.  Until a few years ago, I was doing photography on a professional part time basis, but have not be doing any lately due to a shoulder injury.   I am a trained Classical pianist, former ballerina, vocalist, actress, and published poet many, many years ago.  She is also Co-Founder of several other groups and Founder of Twisted-Misfits, A-Garden-of-Roses, Quality-Manips and noticeART




- Moderator  Lives in Portugal.  General digital photographer with a keen interest in portraiture, and general art appreciation.  She says "if it moves or if it doesn't move, she photographs it".  She is also Founder of her group PhotoArtists.




- Moderator  Lives in US.  Artistry and creativity in photography, specialising in close-up and macro work, she is also an avid art appreciator who's judgement I have every respect for.  Being the very generous soul I know, she delights in using her artistry to produce beautiful pictures for special occasions.




- Moderator  Lives in Canada.  Specialises in fractal art, and says this of herself, "I like colors and art that touches me inside and that makes me hear the unwritten words." - how beautifully put!! 



- Moderator  Harry is our newest addition to the admin team and I'm sure he's going to be a great help in our busy and ever-growing group.  Harry lives in Poland and is a most talented digital artist. - "Through night visions and symbols I go from very personal feelings to a complete each piece of work, the reception of which is frequently different for various people. I do not want to obtrude one meaning, or any meaning of my paintings, I make them for others to think, be part of my dream, to pursue a symbol."
